PIPPA CUNNINGHAM

Pippa Cunningham is a painter and is best known for her use of colour, fluidity and movement in her work. She paints mostly from life or en plein air. Travel is a major source of inspiration. In 2008 Pippa was commissioned to work on Louis Vuittons Cruise Collection. Her paintings were developed into prints and designs across the range; from fashion to scarves, jewellery and leather goods. This collaboration continued in 2011 with the Ailleurs Collection of bags, acessories and prints for ready to wear. Pippa studied printed textiles and graduated from the Royal College of Art in 1994. She has undertaken commissions to do paintings for a diverse range of clients that include restaurants, the Royal Bank of Scotland, private collections and Marie Curie Cancer Care. She has exhibited in many London galleries as well as doing illustration work for magazines. Private collectors include Leslie Waddington and Paco Pena. Pippa lives and works in Brighton with her husband Dan and their daughters Isabella and Scarlett. Less Education: Studied at The Royal College Of Art.1994.Richmond Hill Gallery. Panter and Hall.
